Vegas Robaina
The Robaina family is prolific in the world of tobacco growing, in particular their dedicated fields in Cuchillas de Barbacoa located in the Vuelta Abajo region of San Luis. Vegan Robiana was created in 1997 in honour of the respected Cuban tobacco grower, Don Alejandro Robaina, the patriarch of the family who was celebrated for his legendary wrappers –– oftentimes, 80 percent of Don Alejandro harvest was deemed fit for use, compared to the 35 percent from other plantations. The cigars are of excellent construction with rich, complex and full-bodied flavour profiles.
